Safety Culture

EP Produzione believes that a safety culture is fundamental for the protection of its people and to get the best out of its business. This awareness underpins everything we do at EP Produzione, summed up neatly in the motto #abbicura (take care). In order to keep the spotlight on these issues, EP Produzione regularly organizes Safety Hours during which HSE is discussed openly with all its collaborators, and Safety Walks & Talks (SWT), i.e. on-site inspections aimed at identifying risks or recognizing good practices through an informal dialog between those who organize the SWT and those who attend it

Skill development

In 2023, over 27,000 training hours were provided, equating to an average of 52 training hours per person.

The value of diversity

EP Produzione joins Valore D network, the first association of companies aimed at promoting gender balance and an inclusive culture. Started in 2023, the collaboration provided EP Produzione employees with the opportunity to be directly involved, through the Valore D Academy, in webinars and specific activities on the topic of diversity and inclusion. EPP devote particular attention to the inclusive leadership issue and in 2023 we have launched a specific 12-hour training program aimed at female executives at the company.

EPP Next

EPP Next, an integral part of the onboarding process, also continued this year, with initial orientation activities to familiarize new hires with the organization’s structure, culture, vision, mission, and values. The program consists of three sessions per year for new hires, aimed at facilitating interaction among new resources distributed across different plants and providing insight into the business of the plants.

In 2023, two EPP Next sessions were held, each lasting three days, at the Livorno Ferraris and Tavazzano and Montanaso plants. In addition to team-building activities, both sessions featured exceptional guest speakers. At Livorno Ferraris, the participants heard from Manuel Bortuzzo, a Paralympic swimmer. At Tavazzano and Montanaso, it was the turn of Giulia Pedretti, a young entrepreneur from Brescia, recognized by Forbes on the 2022 list of the most innovative under-30s in Europe.
