EPH (Energetický a průmyslový holding) is Europe’s largest privately owned energy group, leader in the energy transition to zero- or low-emission
Headquartered in Prague, it runs operations in: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland, and Italy, through more than 70 companies organized in three business areas: EP Infrastructure, EP Power Europe, and EP Logistics International.
EPH is a vertically integrated utility operating along the entire value chain: power generation, cogeneration, natural gas transport and storage, and electricity and gas distribution.

In Italy, it also operates in the renewable energy industry with the solid biomass power plants of Biomasse Italia and Biomasse Crotone in Calabria, totaling 73 MW, and the 7 MW biomass plant in Fusine (SO).

The Group operates a balanced power generation portfolio, based mainly on gas, and is among the biggest promoters of carbon emission reduction in Europe.
Between 2015 and 2022, it reduced its emissions by 34% and invested €2.3 billion in zero- and/or low-emission sources, mainly biomass and modern combined cycles.
By 2030 it aims to reduce carbon emissions by 60% and fully phase out coal-fired capacity, except for Germany where it will end in 2038.
By 2050 it aims to achieve carbon neutrality.
