EPH Group

EPH (Energetický a průmyslový holding) is one of the largest European private capital energy groups and a leader in the energy transition towards zero- or low-emission sources.

Headquartered in Prague, it operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland, and Italy, organized in three business areas: EP Infrastructure, EP Power Europe, and EP Logistics International.

EPH is a vertically integrated utility operating along the entire value chain: power generation, cogeneration, natural gas transportation and storage, electricity and gas distribution.

In Italy, it also operates in the renewable energy industry with the solid biomass power plants of Biomasse Italia and Biomasse Crotone in Calabria, with a total capacity of 74 MW, and about 6 MW biomass plant in Fusine, Lombardy. The three power plants are dispatched to the electricity markets by EP Produzione.

The Group operates a balanced power generation portfolio, based mainly on gas, and belongs to companies with the strongest track record of carbon emission reduction in Europe.

Between 2015 and 2023, it reduced its CO2 emission intensity by 35% and aims to reach substantial further reduction within the next decade, aiming to achieve net zero operations by 2050.
